I came across this piece of architecture a couple of years ago whilst travelling in Europe. I find this piece of architecture particularly intriguing as although the basic idea of it is fairly simple, a glass pyramid, surrounded by two smaller pyramids, when illuminated in the night in front of the pool of water with the original Louvre building as the backdrop it looks quite magical. I find the harmonious transition between the more traditional architectural piece surrounding the pyramids and the modern glass pyramids very amazing.
